The detection device, activation nozzles, and agent cylinders are discreetly integrated within the kitchen hood, ensuring the system blends seamlessly with the existing décor rather than standing out as an industrial installation.

How the System Works

Ceasefire’s Residential Kitchen Fire Suppression Range operates fully automatically in the event of a fire, eliminating the need for manual intervention and the risk of incorrect firefighting during a critical moment.

The system uses a pneumatic Heat Sensing Tube (HST) that runs along the entire length of the kitchen hood, ensuring continuous and uniform fire detection. When exposed to excessive heat or flame, the HST ruptures at a pre-determined temperature, creating a pressure imbalance that instantly activates the suppression system.

Upon activation, the Watermist-based extinguishing agent is discharged. When the fine water droplets come in contact with fire, they convert into steam. This steam displaces oxygen and rapidly reduces the temperature below combustion levels, extinguishing the fire effectively and preventing re-ignition.

Being a clean, green, and eco-friendly extinguishing agent, the system causes minimal post-fire damage—protecting expensive kitchen appliances, cabinetry, and even food items from contamination or flooding.

Engineered for Residential Kitchens

The system is highly effective against all types of cooking-related fires, including those caused by deep frying, shallow frying, baking, grilling, roasting, and similar household cooking activities.

For compact residential layouts, the system is available in an Enviro configuration for a 600 mm long kitchen hood, comprising the appropriate cylinder capacity, offering efficient fire protection without occupying unnecessary space.
